Any person can come to the library and see the available books and references.

The Institute's librarian will provide the concerned party with the address of the publisher or the distributor of the book and its price.

The library is periodically updated with Arab and foreign reference books.

In general, individuals are not allowed to join the Institute's training activities at their own expense even if they are employees of institutions within the Institute's training umbrella. They should be officially nominated by their institutions. However, nominations for the following programs are excluded from the "Institute's Training Umbrella" condition:

 

  • Investment Advisor Training and Certification Program in cooperation with Jordan Securities Commission
  • Training and Qualification Program for the First Level Exam of the Certified Financial ِAnalyst (CFA) Certificate in cooperation with Morgan International.

The institution should send an official letter requesting to be included in the Institute's training umbrella in addition to a summary of its activities to fax number (+96265516687) or to email (generaldirector@ibs.edu.jo). The Institute's management will then study the request in view of its requirements for acceptance.

Joining the Institute's training activities is done by sending an official letter from the institutions within the Institute's training umbrella to fax number +96265532199 or to the following email: training@ibs.edu.jo

The Institute's library offers its services as follows:

  • a. To students, employees, and lecturers of the Institute.
  • b. To staff of the Jordanian financial and banking sector provided the employee's request to borrow books is attached to an official letter sent by the institution in which the borrowing employee works stating that the employee is active at work.
  • c. Borrowing period is two weeks.
  • d. Number of borrowed books is two books at any time.

For Jordanian participants, fees are as follows:

  • For institutions which contribute to the Institute's expenses, two Jordanian dinars per training hour for each participant.
  • For institutions which do not contribute to the Institute's expenses but are included within the Institute's training umbrella, three Jordanian dinars per training hour for each participant.
  • For seminars in cooperation with regional and international institutions, participation fees are determined for each seminar alone.
  • For the Investment Advisor Training and Certification Program in cooperation with Jordan Securities Commission, participation fees amount to (750) Jordanian dinars per participant regardless of the nominating institution.
  • For the Training and Qualification Program for the First Level Exam of the CFA Certificate, participation fees are determined when program is carried out.
  • Participation fees for participants from outside Jordan are agreed and fixed with the nominating institution.

  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Copies of academic and professional certificates which show the specialization.
  • Evaluation forms of training activities in which the lecturer implemented.
  • List of subjects and main contents of training activities the lecturer wishes to carry out.

Requirements are specified in the circulation letters of training activities under the "participants level" item. There are however some prerequisite conditions for some programs:

The main premises of the Institute are located in Amman. The Institute also has two branches: one in Irbid city and the other in Aqaba city. For more information, please go to the “Directional Map”.

yes, the institute implements the program according to the academic affiliation and cooperation agreement concluded with the University of Jordan.

 

The lectures are held at the institute's premises between (4:00 pm - 7:00 pm).

The program is only comprehensive exam-based.

It's certified by a joint decision between the Institute Board of Directors and the Council of Deans of the University of Jordan, the certificate is signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the University of Jordan.

Students are admitted at the beginning of the academic year only. However special cases may apply.

Only employees of the Banking and Financial Institutions, Financial Companies, and Public Institutions involved in the institute's umbrella can be admitted to the program. However, employees from other institutions who want to join the MA program, they should request that by an official letter to try to include their institution within the umbrella of the institute in order to join the program. Admission in the Intermediate Diploma Program has been halted temporarily in the institute.
