In order to incorporate the training activities of the Institute with distinguished and internationally accredited financial and banking training programs and courses, and in order to increase the number of distinguished and specialized professional certificate holders in the Kingdom who will entrench the Institute,s mission to develop the skills of the Jordanian banking and financial staff, refine their qualifications and enable them to serve and upgrade their institutions to the level of the leading international banking institutions and thus serve the Jordanian national economy in general, the Institute launched the «Training and Qualification Program for the First Level Exam of the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate» in the year 2008 with attendance of (22) trainees and conducted it for the second time in the year 2009 with attendance of (15) trainees from the different Jordanian banking and financial institutions in English language in the evening hours and for (99) training hours. The program was held in cooperation with Morgan International, which is a regional company specialized in professional qualification for high level professional certificates in the Middle East and North Africa using (Stalla Review) material based on the latest training methods (Multi-Media Presentation) where two lecturers carry out the training, an American one who presents the lecture on video and the other is one of the Institute,s expert lecturers who is present in the training hall to explain all important points and to answer the participants questions.
At this level of the certificate the participants concentrate on learning the ethics of the profession, economic indicators and their relationship with financial markets, as well as the instruments and techniques used in investment portfolio management.
