The basic level of the Training and Qualification of Micro Financing Specialists Programس was concluded in the Sudanese capital. The program was held by the Institute of Banking Studies in cooperation with the Academy of Sudan for Banking and Financial Studies during 1/8-8/8/2009 and was attended by (15) trainees from a number of banks and micro financing institutions as well as from a number of universities and training institutes operating in Sudan.

This level of the program aims at acquainting the employees working in this field with the best international practices regarding preparing the necessary credit studies for granting loans to small and micro projects as well as their follow-up, collection, and risk management. This level of the program was carried out by a prominent group of Jordanian qualified trainers using the latest training methods such as active discussions, practical case studies and other methods as well.

The Institute of Banking Studies, however, intends to carry out the Advanced level of the program in Sudan for those participants who successfully passed the Basic level from 3/10 to 11/10/2009, and the Institute intends after completing the Advanced level of the program to invite the participants to its premises in Amman and carry out a specialized program for Training of Trainers which will qualify those who meet the necessary requirements for the future training of the remaining part of the employees of the institutions of this sector in order to ensure a sound and strong start for these institutions in the Sudanese economy.

The Institute will continue its policy which aims at strengthening and expanding the existing cooperation with many training institutes and institutions in many Arab countries in addition to its relentless efforts to open more venues of cooperation with new parties for the benefit of the Arab and regional banking and financial cadres.
