The joint academic committee of the Institute of Banking Studies and the University of Jordan which was formed by the Institute's board resolution no. (820) dated 16/12/2007, held its fourth meeting at the Institute's premises in Amman on 22/10/2009 to continue it's main function to make periodical evaluation for  the academic performance of the Masters program at the Institute in accordance with item (4) of paragraph (b) of the second article of the affiliation and cooperation agreement concluded between the Institute and the University of Jordan on 29/5/2003.

At the beginning of the meeting, the latest developments regarding the Masters program were discussed including the implementing of recommendations made in the committee's third meeting which was held on 3/9/2009 .

Many topics were also discussed during the meeting: the regulations regarding the accreditation terms and conditions of higher education programs issued by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission and their implementation by the University of Jordan and the Institute, and the duties of the Academic Committee of the program to be considered as a faculty committee in the University of Jordan and carry out its tasks , in addition to other subjects related to students affairs.

At the end of the meeting, the committee put its recommendations concerning all the matters on the agenda in order to maintain the distinguished level of the program and its development in all aspects.
