The first level of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate training and qualifying program was launched at the Institute's premises in Amman and it was attended by (15) trainees representing the different institutions of the Jordanian banking and financial sector in the framework of a plan to launch training programs for the second and third levels.

 The program is carried out in English language during the period 15/11/2009-18/3/2010 and includes (99) training hours during the evenings in cooperation with Morgan International (a regional company dealing with professional qualification for the international professional certificates in the Middle East and North Africa) and using the Stalla Review material which is based on the latest training methods and utilizes the multi-media presentation where two lecturers conduct the training, one of them is American who presents the lecture through the video and the other is one of the Institute's or Morgan's specialized lecturers who helps in explaining and clarifying all the important points whenever necessary and answers the participants' inquiries.

This training program which is carried out by the Institute in cooperation with Morgan International is characterized by the following:

•  The participants in the implemented programs using Stalla Review material achieved higher levels of success in the qualification exams because these materials are based on the latest training methods and developments.

• At the end of each lecture, the participants are given the CDs containing the whole lecture to be used as reference during their studies and to help them compensate any parts they missed during the original lectures.

• Distributing copies of previous exams with model answers, conducting demo exam at the end of the program so that the participants will get accustomed to the atmosphere of the real exam, and using the best scientific approach in answering the questions and managing time efficiently.

• Offering technical support and follow-up to the participants in the program in order to complete the registration procedures of the first level exam through an agreement with Morgan International to help the participants in completing the registration procedures with the CFA Institute / USA.

• Conducting  free  comprehensive  review  lectures  for  the participants before the official exam date at the Institute's premises or at Morgan International offices.

The Institute aims through launching this program to enrich its training activities with distinguished and internationally accredited banking and financial training programs and courses as well as to increase the number of employees holding such a distinguished specialized professional certificate in accordance with the Institute's mission to implement activities to upgrade the human resources of the local and Arab banking and financial systems.
