In the framework of the existing cooperation between the Institute of Banking Studies and the Central Bank of Jordan in order to increase the efficiency of its employees and deepen their knowledge in the different subjects related to the nature of their jobs, the Institute held a special training course for the employees of the Central Bank of Jordan at the bank’s premises in Amman. The training course entitled Foreign Trade Finance Instruments (Documentary Credits) was held during 7/3 -15/3/2010 and was attended by (17) employees and consisted of (21) training hours. The training course dealt with the operation cycle and risks of foreign trade, its assessment, and the different types of documentary credits, their management and related laws through concentrated practical cases to deepen the knowledge of the participants in these subjects.
The management of the Institute of Banking Studies always endeavors to deepen and strengthen the ties of cooperation and coordination with the Central Bank of Jordan through holding a number of special training courses for its employees during 2010 in all banking and financial subjects at the premises of the Institute and the Central Bank of Jordan in Amman.
