Comprehensive Training Program for Bankers

 

In order to widen the knowledge of the Jordanian Bankers in different aspects of banking operations, the Institute of Banking Studies held during the first quarter of this year the Comprehensive Training Program for Bankers with its new structure during 1/2-21/3/2010. This program which was attended by (25) participants consisted of three parts: internal banking operations, external banking operations, and the basic banking subjects which include: banking regulations, ethics of the banking profession, bank accounting, bank marketing and customer service, and detecting bank counterfeit and forgery.

 

 The Institute decided this year to examine the participants at the end of each part , with a pass mark not less than 60% in each part noting that the pass mark in the program as a whole is the sum of average scores of the three parts and after addition of participations and attendance scores is 70%.
 
  The program aimed at facilitating the participants assimilation of the participants in their institutions and developing their mental abilities and productivity using the latest training and practical methods that suits the financial and banking activities. In view of the success of this program, the Institute decided to continue holding it according to the desire of many banks as a result of the positive impact on the performance of their employees .
