Occupational, Geographical and Institutional Distribution of Participants in the Training Activities

1) Occupational Distribution

 

The occupational distribution of participants attending the training activities held inside the Kingdom by the Institute of Banking Studies in 2010, indicated that participants classified as (Clerk) came first among other occupational ranks of various participants attending the training activities. Thus, total number of participants occupying this position   reached  (3792)  representing  (85.29 %) of the aggregate ranks. This was followed by participants classified as (Division Head) whose number totaled (196) with (4.41 %) of total occupational ranks. Participants   classified as (Assistant Division Head) and (Department Head) occupied the third and fourth places and represented (2.63 %) and (1.96 %) of the total ranks respectively.

2)  Geographical Distribution

 

The geographical distribution of training activities held locally by the Institute during 2010 indicated that Amman took the lead, the total of training activities that been held in Amman reached (220) training activities, or (75%) of the total training activities, it was followed by Aqaba with (46) training activities or (16%) of the total training activities, then Irbid came third with (26) training activities or (9%) of the total activities.
The  geographical  distribution of  participants attending the training activities held locally by the  Institute during 2010 indicated that Amman came first with a relative importance of (82%) of total participants. It was followed by Aqaba then  Irbid as they formed (11%), (7%) of total participants respectively.

In terms of the aggregate training courses, seminars, panel discussions and lectures held by the Institute up till 2010 reached (3890) training courses, seminars, panel discussions, lectures and programs, whereas the total number of participants attending these training activities amounted to (71943) participants.  Amman took the major share, as it conducted (2843) training activities while the shares of Irbid, Aqaba, Libya and Sudan were (522), (500), (23) and (2) respectively.

As for the total number of participants, Amman ranked first with (56440) of the total participants attending the training activities since the establishment of the Institute up till the end of 2010 . It was followed by Irbid and Aqaba as their numbers amounted to (7855) and (6907) trainees respectively, then Libya with (711) participants and finally Sudan with (30) participants .

3) Institutional Distribution

 

The institutional distribution of participants attending the training activities in 2010 indicated that the Union Bank ranked first among banks and financial institutions in terms of the number of participants attending the training activities held by the Institute during this year.

The total number of participants from Union Bank attended the training activities reached (512) participants, a proportion of (11.51%) of total participants.  Arab Bank came in the second place totaling (505) , or (11.35%) of total participants. The third place was occupied by Central Bank of Jordan as its participants amounted to (349) and formed (7.84%) .
