The Institute of Banking Studies continued to carry out the Brokers Training and Certification Program in cooperation with Jordan Securities Commission and AMIR Program . The program started on 16/3/2005 and will end on 21/4/2005 . It was attended by (26) trainees representing the different banks , financial institutions , and brokerage companies in Jordan . The program was designed to develop the participants skills in capital markets according to international financial standards through acquainting them with the mechanisms of financial markets in general and of the Jordanian capital market in particular . The program, however, covered subjects such as financial securities , bonds , investment companies , fundamental and technical analysis, in addition to the financial securities law and brokerage firms operations . The program also covered the work nature of the Jordan Securities Commission , Securities Depository Center and Amman Stock Exchange . At the end of the program , the participants who successfully pass the required exams will be granted certificates qualifying them to get license from Jordan Securities Commission to work as certified broker .
Due to the big demand on this program , and as a result of the continued growth of the local financial market . This program will be carried out during the second and third quarters of this year .
