Specialized Banking Courses Held at the Institute for the Arab and Local Banking and Financial Institutions

In light of the distinguished success achieved by the Institute during its training activities , and the good reputation it has acquired among the Arab banks and financial institutions , the Institute has carried out during the second quarter 2005 two training courses in Libya entitled Bank Branches Management . The training courses were held in Tripoli and Benghazi in cooperation with Banking Training Center from 7/5-9/5/2005 and from 10/5-12/5/2005 consecutively and was attended by (60) trainees each . These courses were carried out in accordance with the joint agreement between the Institute of Banking Studies and the Central Bank of Libya which aims at strengthening the cooperation between the two parties and to benefit from the Institutes training experience in all banking and financial specialized aspects. Also, in harmoney with the Royal Directives to help in rebuilding Iraq, the Institute hosted a group of Al-Rafidain Bank / Iraq employees and carried out for them two specialized training courses at the Institutes premises , the first one entitled Modern Secretarial Work and the second one entitled SWIFT Transfers from 15/5-19/5/2005 and each one was attended by (10) trainees .

On the other hand , the Institute has carried out three special training courses for employees of the Islamic International Arab Bank : Word 2000" which was attended by (18) trainees during 3/4-7/4/2005,Advanced Word 2000 attended by (17) trainees during 10/4-14/4/2005 and The Internet attended by (19) trainees during 8/5-12/5/2005 . In addition, the National Society for Investor Protection held a special training course at the Institutes premises attended by (11) trainees during 26/6-28/6/2005 and was entitled Management of Purchases and Inventory Using Computer . All these courses were held within the Institutes efforts to raise the efficiency of employees working in banks and financial institutions and enrich them with the required experience to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively .
