| Graduation Ceremony of the Institute's 32nd Group Under the Auspices of Mr. Ali Al-Husry / Chairman of the Board of Directors of Export and Finance Bank |
At the Institute's premises in Amman on 28/9/2004 and under the auspices of Mr. Ali Al-Husry / Chairman of the Board of Directors of Export and Finance Bank, the graduation ceremony of the 32nd group of the Institute's students took place for both the ordinary and Islamic financial and banking studies specializations. The number of graduates of the ordinary specialization was (34) whereas the number of graduates for Islamic specialization was (8), thereby increasing the number of graduates to (1453) since the foundation of the Institute. However, Mr. Al-Husry commended the Institute for the pioneer position it occupies in the local and Arab arenas and for its role in providing the financial and banking sector continuously with qualified cadres . Mr. Al-Husry referred also to the efforts of the Institute in developing its abilities and position, and availing the new and latest developments in all financial and banking fields in the context of its continuous efforts to provide the financial and banking sector with human resources able and qualified to manage it and reinforce its role in this vital sector of the national economy. At the end of his speech , Mr. Al-Husry emphasized to the graduates the necessity to continue their education and research in order to develop their skills and abilities and upgrade the performance of the Jordanian financial and banking sector. Dr. Adeeb Haddad, Dean of the Institute, demonstrated in his turn the Institute's efforts to furnish the local financial and banking sector with qualified cadres able to lead their institutions efficiently and effectively , and to continue what the Institute has achieved since its foundation three decades ago . The Dean of the Institute emphasized also the vital role of the Institute in developing human resources in order to put the institutions of the financial and banking sector in a position where they will be able to face and cope with the challenges and developments on the regional and international levels. Dr. Haddad also highlighted the Institute's role to avail new training methods and new technology for the Jordanian banking industry. At the end of the graduation ceremony Mr. Al-Husry distributed the graduation diplomas and the prizes to the outstanding students. Dr. Haddad then presented the Institutes shield to Mr. Al-Husry. | |
