Specialized Banking Training Courses for Employees of the Central Bank of Libya In view of the outstanding success the Institute has achieved in its training activities , and the good reputation it has acquired among the Arab financial and banking organizations, and in compliance with the agreement between the Institute of Banking Studies and the Central Bank of Libya, which aims at strengthening mutual cooperation and enabling the Banking Training Center of the Central Bank of Libya to benefit from the training abilities and facilities of the Institute in all specialized aspects of financial and banking operations. The Institute has carried out four training programs in Libya in cooperation with the Banking Training Center of Central Bank of Libya and sent specialized lecturers to implement these training courses . The first course entitled Information Technology Audit was carried out from 21/8 to 25/8/2004 and was attended by (10) trainees . The second entitled Statistics Programs SPSS (banking operations)" was carried out from 25/9 to 29/9/2004 and was attended by (15) trainees. The third training course entitled Credit Worthiness was carried out from 26/9 to 28/9/2004 and was attended by (50) trainees. The fourth training course entitled Importance of Bank Control was carried out from 29/9 to 30/9/2004 and was attended by (65) trainees. It has also been decided to carry out two training courses during the last quarter of this year in Libya , the first entitled Introduction to E-Commerce and E- Banking Services to be held from 2/10 to 6/10/2004 and the second entitled Analysis of Financial Statements Using Computer to be held from 4/12 to 8/12/2004 . Moreover, the Institute of Banking Studies has carried out at the Institute's premises in Amman a special training course for the employees of the Central Bank of Libya on Bank Transfers from 15/8 to 19/8/2004 . Also, Libyan employees have participated, however, in Management and Treatment of Non-Performing Debts' training course which was carried out at the Institute's premises from 13/9 to 16/9/2004 . Back
