The Institute's Management Meetings with Local and International Institutions
 1- BearingPoint International Consulting Company

The Institute's Management held several meetings during the last quarter of this year with representatives of BearingPoint International Consulting Company / USAID regarding the training of Iraqi banking cadres from the Central Bank of Iraq, Rasheed Bank and Rafidain Bank at the Institute of Banking Studies, through organizing special training courses to cover the priority needs of these cadres and to qualify them for assuming their responsibilities in a competitive environment so that their institutions will be able to contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq.
In this respect , a mutual understanding agreement will be signed by the two parties to put down the administrative, technical and financial procedures for starting the training of the Iraqi cadres at the Institute of Banking Studies at the beginning of the coming year.
However , the Institute of Banking Studies was selected as a regional training center for carrying out this mission due to the good reputation the Institute enjoys among the Arab banking and financial institutions , and due to its vast experience and its distinguished training facilities as well as the outstanding success the Institute achieved in executing the Sustainable Microfinance Training Program and the Broker's Training and Certification Program in cooperation with AMIR Program funded by USAID.
2- Jordan Securities Commission

Dr. Adeeb Haddad, the Dean of the Institute of Banking Studies met on 15/12/2004 H.E. Dr. Bassam Al-Saket / Executive Chairman of Jordan Securities Commission in order to complete the final preparations to execute the Investment Advisor Training and Certification Program which will be carried out at the Institute's premises during the coming year in cooperation with Jordan Securities Commission and AMIR Program funded by USAID. This specialized program will be carried out in English language to the Jordanian capital market cadres following the continued efforts of the Institute and the Jordan Securities Commission to strengthen the role of the capital market in the Jordanian economy by increasing the productivity of those working in the market as well as enriching their academic knowledge and practical experience in harmony with the new securities law.
