The Institute of Banking Studies carried out the Basic course of the Sustainable Microfinance Training Program during 4/12-22/12/2005 in cooperation with AMIR Program , and was attended by (14) employees from the different banks and financial institutions dealing in microfinance . The trainees who successfully passed this training course were granted Microfinance Practitioner certificates. It is decided, however, that the Institute will continue carrying out the basic and advanced courses during the next year following the extension of the agreement with AMIR Program. Such activities will further promote the Institute's position as a regional center for training in Sustainable Microfinance Training Program.
