The Board of Directors of the Institute of Banking Studies held its 132nd meeting on Tuesday 27/12/2005 . His Excellency Dr. Umayya Toukan , Chairman of the Board and Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan presided the meeting.

The Board members discussed the subjects on the agenda : budget forecast for 2006 , the insurances on the trainees of the Intermediate Diploma Program and buying a new car for the Institute . The Board also discussed the results of the November comprehensive exam of the MBA Program in Banking and Finance , designing the MBA graduation certificates for the first group of graduates, the Institute's membership in the Global Islamic Banking and Finance Institutes Network which emerged from the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions / Bahrain , as well as the achievements of the Institute during 2005 .

Finally , H.E. Chairman of the Board and the members highlighted the distinguished achievements of the Institute during 2005 in the different training and academic fields , and its continuous efforts to develop the Jordanian banking and financial institutions cadres.
